With Fall officially upon us, so too comes the Old North State's biggest event. It's the time of year when we sample anything and everything fried, giant turkey legs fill our hands, and gravity defying rides reign supreme. It's time for the 2016 N.C. State Fair!
This year's theme, "Nothing Could Be Finer," is the foundation of its mission. The fair is all about seeking out and showcasing the finest of N.C. Whether that be in a horse show, livestock show, culinary, handicraft or art competition, or with the new "Homegrown Music Fest" concert series (11 days, three stages, 117 concerts), we are proud of the talented people of our great state. The State Fair is a way to celebrate anything and everything that is uniquely N.C.
