Have you ever wanted to create your own artwork to frame in your home? Learn the art of calligraphy with the Durham Arts Council! This one day hands on workshop will provide you with an introduction to calligraphy and help you see letters in a new light.
You will explore the possibilities in using a broad tip pen while learning some basic strokes of calligraphy. Each student will need to bring a broad felt tip calligraphic pen (2.5mm), a ruler, pencil, and unlined white copier paper to each class. A folder for work is suggested.
