Celebrate the holiday season with the most anticipated parade of the year! On Saturday, November 17th, the Greater Raleigh Merchants Association will present the Raleigh Christmas Parade. The Parade will begin at 9:40 a.m. at Hillsborough Street.
The Raleigh Christmas Parade has been presented by the Greater Raleigh Merchants Association since 1944. The parade is the largest single-day event in Raleigh each year and is the largest parade to occur between Atlanta and Washington, D.C.
The event regularly attracts an estimated 60,000 spectators from across the state to downtown Raleigh and reaches more than 250,000 through television and live video streaming. The Parade is televised the day of the parade and annually on Christmas Day.
Witness dancing, incredible floats, and Santa Claus himself at the 74th Raleigh Christmas Parade! The parade is free for all to attend.
