Skip the Line at Starbucks By Making Your Own Iced Caramel Macchiato

While it is super convenient to just pull into the Starbucks drive-thru and order whatever drink we are feeling at the moment, it’s an expensive habit. Plus, with social distancing guidelines, we need to stay at home and flatten the curve for our state’s medical workers. So, what better time to make a knock-off Starbucks Iced Caramel Macchiato in the comfort of your own apartment? It will save you time and money while protecting the health of others—including yourself!

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons vanilla syrup
1 cup ice
1 cup cold, whole milk
2 ounces espresso
1 teaspoon caramel sauce
Option: chocolate sprinkles and whipped cream
Cocoa powder

Directions:

1. Pour vanilla syrup into the bottom of a 16-ounce capacity glass, then add ice.

2. Pour the milk and espresso into the glass.

3. Drizzle caramel on top and stir until blended.

4. Spray whipped cream on top and add chocolate sprinkles if desired.
