Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and – most notably – Rising Star winner Jesse Kinch will perform live in Durham this Friday night! The ABC reality television star will give concert-goers an unforgettable rock experience thanks to electrifying vocals and undeniable style. Check him out when Kinch performs at Rhythms Live Music Hall on April 5th.
Jesse began his musical journey at the age of 6, after he discovered an old acoustic guitar in his parents’ basement. At age 11, he began singing and performing, later leading him to play at venues in New York City. Since then, he went on to capture larger public recognition, winning ABC’s interactive music competition show, Rising Star, in 2014. His early and continued success as a musician only prove his captivating music style.
Following the release of his 2018 debut album I’m Not Like Everybody Else, Kinch hits the stage with his band, playing original music. This is a show sure to entertain music lovers of all kinds, as he will cover many iconic songs spanning several generations in addition to performing his self-penned music. Drawing much of his inspiration from the great rock bands of the 60’s and 70’s, Kinch’s mesmerizing sound is an ode to rock legends before him while, at the same time, merging the sounds of all genres.
