Hear the Stories and Meet North Carolinian Heroes of WWI at This Special Exhibit

Visit the North Carolina Museum of History for a look at “North Carolina and World War I,” a free, interactive multimedia exhibit that honors those who provided extraordinary service to their country 100 years ago.

“North Carolina and World War I” focuses on the state’s role in the War to End All Wars on the western front in France and Belgium. The centennial exhibition will highlight approximately 500 artifacts, period photography, a trench diorama, historical film footage, educational interactive components, and video re-enactments that feature European and North Carolina soldiers and citizens, commemorating the anniversary of US entry into WWI. This educational and powerful display is a beautiful monument to our nation’s history and a display not to be missed!
